Redesigned Website Launches “Your Arizona Connection Starts Here” Launch Arizona PBS brand elevation campaign. A cross-platform effort that aims to grow and diversify PBS’s audience in Arizona, this campaign will inform members, viewers and partners of the station’s new vision and direction, and educate Arizonans about the many resources provided by the station.
“In today’s ever-changing media landscape, public media stations must continue to invest in their digital assets to stay competitive and ensure that all citizens can access content,” said Arizona’s chief executive. Fairwell. “Not only the redesign azpbs.org more graphically attractive and user-friendly, it is more adaptable, which will allow us to respond more efficiently and effectively to the needs of our audience.
A key part of the launch of “Your Arizona Starts Here” is an integrated marketing campaign that includes billboards around the Phoenix metro and digital ads on various platforms from Flagstaff to Yuma. Friends and supporters of Arizona PBS are invited to join in celebrating the past 61 years of KAET and the next chapter that encompasses technology, diversity and innovation in broadcasting.
The campaign will also encourage Arizona PBS viewers and friends to share their own unique connections to the station on various engagement platforms. These initiatives are part of the station’s three-year plan strategic planwhich highlights how the resort will strengthen its community relationships and solidify its position in the Arizona market.
“This is a very exciting step for Arizona PBS. The campaign and website fit perfectly into the categories of our strategic plan, which call for providing easy access to programming and creating an awareness campaign,” said Fairwell.
Visually, the relaunched site features a darker background, lighter accents, and simplified navigation tools, putting more emphasis on Arizona PBS content and making the site easier to use. Among local favorites, such as “Please Check!” Arizona” and “Art in the 48” to national hits, like “Finding Your Roots” and “American Experience,” content is easier to find and enjoy.
