CHICAGO, February 9, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — With annual renewals from key partners State Farm and Wintrust, sponsors continue to show their support for the 2022 Chicago Auto Show. New for 2022, Food Chicago signs on as the exclusive indoor EV track sponsor, allowing show attendees to experience a variety of brand new EVs in a row.

As longest-serving premier partner, State Farm returns with an exhibit space featuring safe driving simulators bringing virtual reality to life. Spectators will be encouraged to jump into the driver’s seat and experience the unexpected while earning points for their safe driving ability and free loot. The State Farm Help Center also returns to the Grand Concourse where State Farm representatives are on hand throughout the duration of the public exhibit to answer entrants’ questions.
Wintrust also returns as the exclusive banking sponsor and presenting partner of the Supercar Gallery, a popular area of the show showcasing rare, exotic and high-performance sports cars. Prior to the show, Wintrust held a contest on its website for people to enter and win VIP access to the gallery. During the public show, Wintrust will also be offering a social media contest on the Chicago Auto Show social media channels to give attendees the chance to go behind the glass and see vehicles from premium manufacturers like Aston Martin, Bentley, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce and more. They can simply post a photo of their dream car with #SupercarSweeps for a chance to win when they visit. Current Wintrust customers will also benefit from discounted entry on weekdays and ATMs will be placed throughout the show.

Electrifying the consumer experience at the 2022 show, the Chicago Auto Show and Powering Chicago are launching an all-new indoor electric vehicle track featuring a variety of electric vehicles ranging from the BMW i4 M50 to the Kia EV6, among others. Food Chicago is the union-management partnership between Local 134 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and the Electrical Contractors Association of Chicago and Cook County.
Food Chicago will have a 73-foot interactive truck and trailer on site to educate consumers about the capabilities of union electricians and signatory contractors installing Chicagoland’s electric vehicle infrastructure. Their goal is to educate consumers on what to consider for their home before purchasing an electric vehicle as well as the specific electrical components needed to power a home charger. Installation experts will be on hand to answer questions throughout the show and explain the capabilities of the truck, which is designed as a mobile field excursion unit to be a resource for Chicago schools to educate children about STEM activities and careers in electrical construction.

Tickets for the 2022 Chicago Auto Show are currently on sale at ChicagoAutoShow.com. The 2022 show is happening February 12-21 at McCormick Place and is open to the public 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day except the last day (Presidents Day) when the show ends at 8 p.m. Adult ticket prices are $15; people aged 62 and over are $10; children from 4 to 12 years old are $10; children 3 and under are free.
