MIT World Peace University hosts 7th edition of the World Parliament of Science, Religion and Philosophy
To make the virtual summit more symbolic on the occasion of the 152nd anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi and the 117th anniversary of the birth of Lal Bahadur Shastri, MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune has started its 7th edition of Parliament world of science, religion and philosophy online this year under the umbrella of the world’s largest dome, the World Peace Dome. With highly engaging sessions from thought leaders, the mega event saw the enthusiastic participation of thousands of students and messengers of peace from across the country. The presidential speech at the inaugural ceremony was delivered by Dr Meira Kumar, IFS, Former President, Lok Sabha, Former Union Minister for Social Justice, Empowerment and Water Resources, Government. from India.
Sharing her thoughts at the 7th World Parliament, Dr Meira Kumar said: “The legacy that India has left for the world is that we do not just tolerate other religions, we respect them.
Several prominent dignitaries also honored the inaugural session, including guest of honor Sushil Kumar Shinde, former governor of Andhra Pradesh, former Union minister for home affairs and electricity, government. of India, Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Chief Guest of Honor Pramod Kumar, Minister of Sugar Cane Industry, Minister of Law, Govt. from Bihar, holder of the UNESCO Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, Founder and Boss, MAEER’s MIT, Pune & President, MIT World Peace University, Dr. Hasmukh Adhia, IAS (Retd.), Chancellor, Central University of Gujarat, Former Secretary of Finance and Revenue, Govt . from India, and Rajiv Mehrotra, author, Honorary General Administrator / Secretary, Foundation for Universal Responsibility of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Sushil Kumar Shinde said: “सरकार भी हो, और किसान ताकतवर होना चाहिए। जवान तो सीमा सुरक्षित ताकतवर तो लोग स्वस्थ।”

Karad, Managing Director and Executive Chairman, MAEER’s MIT and Executive Chairman, MIT World Peace University and initiator in Chief, MIT School of Government, and Prof. Dr. Mangesh Karad, Executive Chairman, MIT-ADTU and other dignitaries.
