BOSTON – The Massachusetts Faculty of Artwork and Design not too long ago introduced that its thirty second MassArt public sale will likely be held at 8 p.m. on April 10.

Scott Offen was born in Boston in 1960. He is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Art in Photography at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. His work has been shown most recently at the Aviary Gallery in Jamaica Plain and at the Griffin Museum of Photography in Winchester. Offen is a resident of Newton.

Members can go to http://massartauction.org/bid to register for the stay and silent auctions, which can function over 325 works by artists together with Blane De St. Croix, Emily Eveleth, Stanley Whitney and Kehinde Wiley .

Catarina Coelho received an MA in Fine Arts from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Recent exhibitions include the Washington Art Association, Connecticut; Danforth Art Museum; Venice International Art Fair, Italy; Printing Triennial, Toulouse, France. Prizes include: The Berkshire Taconic Foundation and the Mass Cultural Council finalist. His work is part of several collections including the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. She resides in Newton.

The works featured on this yr’s public sale cowl quite a lot of mediums akin to portray, jewellery, sculpture and images. Susan Gheyssari obtained a certificate in fine arts from the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de France in 1987. She is an oil painter who respects the old masters of the tradition. His paintings are mainly inspired by the elegance of ballet and the soul of the dancers. His work was recently exhibited at the Newbury Fine Art Gallery in Boston. Along with the potential for shopping for works at public sale, MassArt will host – for the primary time – 4 free digital previews open to the general public. Preview evening attendees might select to take part in a number of breakout classes to be taught extra in regards to the paintings on show

Thaddeus Beal received a BA from Yale, a Juris Doctor from Stanford, and a degree from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University. He exhibits regularly at the Soprafina Gallery in Boston and has received four awards from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and a grant from the New England Foundation for the Arts. His work is in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Beal is a resident of Newton.

Chris Faust received a BA from MassArt in 1988 and an MA from Vermont College of Fine Arts in 2013. His work has been exhibited in New York at the Drawing Center and PS122, and most recently at the Cushing Gallery in Stonehill. Middle School. He was the recipient of a Rema Hort Mann Fellowship in 1997 and a Massachusetts Cultural Council Fellowship in 2010. He is represented by bk projects. Faust is a resident of Newton.
